Voted World's Greatest Living Guitarist by Mojo magazine (and number 2 to Jimi Hendrix in Greatest Ever), Steve Cropper is a musical god. A founder member of Booker T & The MGs and leader of the Stax Records house band, he played on, produced and co-wrote classics of the order of '(Sittin on) The Dock of the Bay' (Otis Redding), 'Knock On Wood' (Eddie Floyd), and 'In The Midnight Hour' (Wilson Pickett) as well as many, many more. The cry of 'Play it, Steve!' on Sam & Dave's 'Soul Man' was aimed at him. He has worked with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, BB King, Bob Dylan… the list is almost endless, as well as heading the band for the cult 'Blues Brothers' movie. Here he plays with and is backed by The Animals, featuring original members John Steel and Mick Gallagher. Expect solid gold hits from both sides of the Atlantic.

Great double bill of great guitarists: Louisiana-born, Texan-raised young master of zydeco, hard-swinging Texas electric blues, R&B and swampy Louisiana blues, Robertson often surprises audiences with his ability to play R&B, zydeco and blues with a rock edge. As a teenager in the late 1960's, Sherman toured as lead guitarist with blues superstar Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland and Junior Parker, since then he’s been a regular feature with Clifton Chenier and Terrance Simien, Rockin' Dopsie, Johnny Copeland as well as his own band, Sherman Robertson and the Crosstown Blues Band. As Blues Revue said: ‘Potent singing and sizzling guitar… Robertson is unstoppable.’ Special guest appearance from the instrumentalist rocking Flying Padovanis, led by Police founder Henry Padovani, with Paul Slack and Henry Musto.
